When will my order ship out?
Typically, you can expect your order to ship within 5 business days. Upper receivers may take up to 15 business days to ship out. Serialized items (firearms, lower receivers, etc.) may take 7-10 business days to ship out; please verify that Midnight Sun Guns and Ammo has a copy of the FFL from your dealer. During the holiday and peak seasons, shipping times will vary due to the high order volume. We do work very hard to get your order out to you, and apologize if there is a delay with it. Let our Customer Service Department know if your order has passed the above shipping time, and they will have your order sent to our Shipping Department to investigate the reason for the delay.
Why will the website not let me complete the ordering process?

Can I pick up my order directly from Midnight Sun Guns and Ammo?
Midnight Sun Guns and Ammo is online and phone order only and thus we are not open to the public. However, we do realize many local folks would like to purchase our products and want to avoid having to pay shipping charges. To accommodate our local customers, we have set up relationships with local gun dealers, to handle local transfers of firearms for our customers for a small fee.
Can I swap an item from my order for a different item?
No, we are not able to edit an order after it has been placed. We can assist you in canceling your original order, so you can order the item(s) you wanted, or you can place a separate order. To cancel your order, please use our contact form for the fastest response.

How old do I have to be to purchase ammo from Midnight Sun Guns and Ammo?
You must be at least 21 years old to purchase ammo from us. There can be grey areas regarding what is considered handgun ammo and what is considered long gun ammo. For that reason, Midnight Sun Guns and Ammo errs on the side of caution and will only sell ammo to those above the age of 21. When placing your order, you will be asked to make a statement of your age and that you are complying with all applicable laws.
I am new to buying firearms online, what is the process?
Legally, when an individual wants to buy a firearm through the mail, they must have it shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. First, choose a local gun dealer or other FFL holder in your area and get their permission to have a firearm shipped to them from Classic Firearms. The gun dealer would then do the background check, etc and transfer the firearm to you in return for a small fee.
IMPORTANT: It is the customer’s responsibility to check, before placing your order, to ensure the product you are ordering meets all local, state, and federal laws for your area.
Will my credit card be charged as soon as I place the order or do you wait until my order is shipped?

This section was created to clarify a few details and help better define the process of purchasing a firearm online so you know what to expect when you ‘pull the trigger’ on your next firearm investment. No matter where you live within the United States, we must ship your firearm to a Federal Firearm Licensed Dealer (FFL Dealer). Don’t forget to check all local and state laws before placing any order. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver. You must also be a legal resident of the state in which you wish to transfer the firearm (The only exception to this would be active duty military personnel).

Arrange the transfer with an FFL Dealer (You will use this dealer as the shipping address when you place your order).
- Contact the dealer and let them know you would like them to receive a firearm for transfer from Midnight Sun Guns and Ammo, LLC.
- Provide the FFL dealer with our contact information so they can send a copy of their FFL.
- Ask about the transfer fee. Usually, FFL dealers will charge a small fee to take care of the background check and 4473.

Watch the tracking information that we provide you. Once the order has arrived at the FFL dealer of your choosing, call your FFL for a good pickup time.
For the transfer to be approved, your FFL Dealer is required to have you fill out a 4473 and pass a background check through NICS. This is the same form and background check you would complete if you purchased a firearm in any gun store. Once you pass the background check, you are free to take your firearm home!
